A few months ago, my friend and photographer extraordinaire, Mary Kelting, came up with a great idea to use our little red barn as a background for her yearly Christmas photos. Before we knew it, we were decorating the barn with dainty white lights, a freshly cut holiday tree, bales of hay and an amazingly beautiful wreath. Aimee Lithwin was instrumental in putting together the details of the decorations. The day was uncharacteristically hot and we were all sweating as we trimmed the tree. A memorable morning.
